Topography - Central Asia

The boundary between Asia and India is a classic continent-continent convergent boundary. The world's highest mountain range, the Himalayan Mountains, results from this collision. These mountains are composed of marine sedimentary rocks, and continue to rise upward even today.

The following images show topography and its relation to this convergent plate tectonic boundary.
