IMPORTANT
NOTICE: As
of September 1, 2004, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE) will
implement a new automatic update feature in SEVIS. This means that
records not updated in a timely manner may be automatically cancelled or
terminated. YOUR ADSO/DSO CANNOT UNDO THESE ACTIONS.
Therefore, it is EXTREMELY important for you to respond to ANY
requests by your ADSO/DSO BEFORE the specified deadlines. It is
also important that you report any change of address or mailing preferences
to your ADSO/DSO IMMEDIATELY. If terminated, it is your
responsibility to apply for reinstatement or return to your home country.
|
 |
REMEMBER:
Only ONE (3 hour) online course may count toward the full-time
requirement. Students
may take more than one online course provided they have fulfilled the
full-time requirement with traditional “in-class” courses.
Please contact an ADSO or DSO if you have any questions.
|
 |
NOTICE:
Nonresident students studying on an F-1 Student visa are NOT
eligible for Georgia Residency.
|
 |
F-1
STUDENTS are NOT
authorized to work off-campus without proper USCIS authorization.
Working without authorization is a SERIOUS
violation of your immigration status. (A Social Security Card is NOT an
Employment Authorization Card.) Please
see a ADSO/DSO if you have any questions.
|
 |
DON'T
FORGET
to report a Change of Address to your
ADSO/DSO AND the Registrar’s Office within 10 days of the change. |
